Would You Survive Marketing Armageddon?

I Don’t Dig Pain and Suffering

I’m not going to lie. I don’t dig pain and suffering, so when I was involved in a road traffic collision recently, the flesh-mangled carnage which resulted still brings a tear to my eye.

I Was like a Melted Plastic Action Figure

The bruising on my hip I could deal with. Even the centimetre deep hole on my shoulder wasn’t causing me too much concern. But as I limply cycled away after the crash, like a melted plastic action figure, I realised it was my wrist which had taken the brunt of the fall. Investigations and X-rays by doctors revealed it wasn’t broken but it was badly sprained. It soon became clear I couldn’t use my right hand for anything.

  • Not eating.
  • Not writing.
  • Not even typing.

In fact even today, this article is being penned by my dictation software.

Even Going To the Toilet Is Hard

I never thought I’d have to publicly admit this. I never thought I’d have to tell you how hard it is to go to the toilet when you’ve lost use of your right hand. But then I never thought as I went for an innocent bike ride, minding my own business, that I would almost be taken out of it by a maniac driver who certainly wasn’t minding what he was doing.

My Business Is Saved From Meltdown

This is what life throws at you sometimes. You just have to roll with the punches and get on with it, right? So as I struggle with my bathroom visits, I can’t help but see the silver lining in all this. Namely, while certain non-business tasks have become difficult for me without the use of my right hand, my ability to earn several hundred dollars in commissions every day has not been affected one single iota. In other words, for me, suffering serious physical injury does not mean that my affiliate business will face marketing Armageddon.

Most People Need Their Hands To Work and Eat

Which is nice. Most people aren’t this lucky. Their businesses, if you can even call them that, need their daily manual input just in order to survive. They need to constantly pound on the keyboard creating content-driving traffic, get links and do lots of manual work over and over every single day in an effort to get sales coming in.

Hands Off My Commissions

There’s a much better way to make commissions and it doesn’t need your right hand or left hand or even any hands at all. Yes. Hands-free commissions. So go get your hands (while you still have the use of them) on a nice converting affiliate offer, decide where you are going to promote it and herd as many buyers to that offer as you can.
